Pro Services & Options
ProPak$2000-$2500 -- The ProPak are intended for pro drivers and therefore adds LIFETIME Tech Support, Tuning, and Surface Texturizing/Embossing/etc. This gives you Complete Worry-Free Design Freedom throughout the life of the wheel.
Your wheel is modified with Custom Molded Grips in either of the two Home Positions: "10 & 2" or "3 & 9" according to the information you provide with regard to Use (ovals, road racing, both, or a team of drivers for endurance racing), Hand Size, and Home Position. If you shuffle steer, material will be added in the areas you specify. Full Wheel molding can be included at no additional cost. ProPaks include no-cost surface tuning after you've experimented and settled into a good design. So, when you're happy with the design, ship it back, and the Steering Wheel Guy will tune the surface for proper stick-slip characteristics in the various gripping areas, and dial in the edge terminations at the mating surfaces and emboss your sponsor's logo or your signature, too. By the very nature of surface treatments, the radius of peaks, valleys and corners will soften, and surfaces become more accommodating for gloves. Surface Tuning Techniques include polishing, burnishing, and deep or shallow texturizing. Custom Logos can be included at no additional cost with the ProPak Program. |
Shifters & Paddles$250 -- Shifter Knobs and Paddles can be molded with leveraging surfaces for positive, non-slip shifting.
Paddles receive non-slip raised edge molds that are pegged into place. That way, no matter how hairy it gets in the middle of turns, fingertips never miss a shift. Knobs benefit for each Racing Power Shift: Straight Back Upshift, Straight Forward Downshift, Across Gate Forward Upshift, and Across Gate Back Downshift. Depending on the knob, Street Driving grooves are also added on the front face and top surfaces to allow finger-touch shifts. If entire shifter can be removed and shipped with boot intact, shifter grip surface can extend downward onto shaft and then mated to boot. Optional Custom-Embossed Logos can be added on rear face and extend onto upper surfaces. If a custom logo is desired, email line art as a .pdf or .jpg file. Please call for details if you want to add logos: (seven one four) 342. 3020...Pacific Time Zone (GMT -08:00). Otherwise, the PersonaGrip logo is used when space is available. Optional Surface Textures can be added onto surface to aid release and facilitate micro-adjustments. This texturizing option can be seen on Yellow shifter above. Otherwise, shifter will get burnished to a nice stick/slip texture after break-in. |
Full Wheel$250 -- When you want the ULTIMATE custom-molded Intro Program or Custom Tuner steering wheel, choose this option...it's free with ProPaks, if desired.
This gives you the maximum amount of design freedom as the wheel's entire surface is covered with PersonaGrip's composite thermoplastic 94M compound. This service can be added to Custom Tuner, Fixed and Shuffle Intro programs. NOTE: Please allow up to 3 Days for best results as interference patterns between multiple hand positions often take days to discover and blend properly...there are exceptions, please call for details: (seven one four) 342-3020. Piping$195 -- Colored Piping is a good way for teams to distinguish wheels at a glance. Sometimes drivers can mold several different wheels for different tracks for ovals and road racing.
Sponsor colors are a nice addition. On the street, colored piping is a great way to accent your steering wheel to compliment exterior body color or interior trim. Sponsor Logo Embossing$275 -- Embossing personalizes your custom-molded steering wheel further with Sponsor Logos and/or Driver Signatures. Simply email the Steering Wheel Guy the line art, or signature(s) in either .pdf or .jpg format, and your wheel will arrive with your Logos Embossed in both the palm areas...very cool.
PersonaGrip custom-molded steering wheels are normally delivered with the PersonaGrip logo embossed into both palm areas. NOTE: Logos are right-reading when the steering wheel is placed on a flat surface with the quick-release pointed up. |
